Cobalt is a GORGEOUS Bluetick Coonhound. This one-year-old spent the first year of his life in a commercial breeding kennel, better known as a puppy mill. Another rescue got him out of that nasty place and brought him to us here at Puppy Porch!


When Cobalt arrived, he was really a mess. He was filthy and was terrified to be in a house. He loved the other dogs, however, and he was soon following them around the house and yard without fear. If the other dogs were getting affection from the humans, Cobalt wanted it too. If the other dogs were playing with toys, Cobalt wanted to play with toys. If the other dogs chased the cat….well, you get the idea! His foster mom says that he is like an 8 week old puppy in an adult body. Everything is new to exciting for him. It is truly amazing how quickly he has become a pet after his rough start in life.
