Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Muffin is a three year old spayed female. She is UTD on shots. New owner will be required to chip within 30 days of adoption. She has not met any cats and gets along well with other dogs. While she has not lives with children she is friendly and would enjoy spending time with respectful little ones. Sometimes needs a few minutes to warm up to strangers but doesnt take long to make fast friends with this little gal. She is 18.5lbs. She walks on leash but would much rather be snuggled up close then out on a walk. House trained. Very friendly with a typical terrier disposition so will stand up for herself to larger more wiley pups and is food motivated making training easy. Integrated well with the other dogs in foster and is a great lap dog. She does have a flea allergy so will always need a monthly preventative. Knows her basic commands and has no bite, abuse or aggression history. No separation anxiety has been exhibited. Prefers to be with her people and sticks close so would be an ideal dog for an apartment or condo dweller. Perhaps a retired person or couple wanting a low maintenance dog. Is crate trained and currently stays in it while her people are away and to sleep at night. Current food is Holistic Select fish formula and seems to enjoy it. She is simply put a sweetheart of a dog! She was placed in rescue due to her owner developing dementia and being unable to care for her any longer. A co worker and friend took her in until a forever home can be found. Unfortunately he already has a full house with three Huskies! Application and home visit required. Adoption fee is $350.
