My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spirit originally came to our facility back in 2009. She was adopted to a family with Dazzle, a deaf horse. Spirit is only about 14 hands tall and is easy to handle. Spirit and Dazzle came back to us in 2013 because the family was moving and could not care for them anymore.

Spirit, 17 years old, is only sound to be a PASTURE PET. She has some conformation problems that cause her pain/lameness. Our vets have deemed her unsound to be ridden. She does need to wear front shoes all year round to keep her comfortable, as she toes in very badly, but otherwise does not need any special care. We think Spirit is approximately 13 years old .

Her adoption fee is $300. Spirit is available for adoption in Illinois or within a 3-hour driving radius of Champaign County, Illinois.
