My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LUCKY...tortoiseshell or calico...I think because she has that swipe of white she is considered a calico...BUT, who cares...look at that gorgeous, one of a kind face!!

Lucky is between 6-9 years old, best guess. She is declawed and spayed and up to date on all her shots. She was found crying outside in the bushes one afternoon when my daughter heard her. She crept out of the bushes cautiously but let us pet her. She must have belonged to people because she was declawed and she was friendly once she realized we weren't going to hurt her. We have no idea how long she had been outside or on her own...but imagine being clawless and having to survive outside...that is tough for the best of cats.

She gets along with 3 of our 4 other cats and both our daughters (tweens). No dogs here but I think she could get along with a laid back dog who is cat friendly. She is really a scaredy cat and cowers away when the male cat is around and tries to get her. We have tried everything to have him tolerate her but he still cries at her and chases her. It is for this reason we wish to find her a home where she can roam freely and without fear...we wish her to only be happy and feel secure.

Very affectionate with us until she had had enough attention and touch and nipped our hands. She always tells us when she is about to nip by turning her head toward our petting hands. Lucky does sleep in bed with me and likes to lay by my side and sleep half on me and half on my pillow. She likes to play with stringy toys or feathery ones on sticks. She is quite good at catching the toy. She is very laid back and loyal. She talks to me pretty good too.
