My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Casey and she is a Lesser Sulphur Crested Cockatoo. She is 26 years old. She is not much of a talker, however loves being out and about and being the center of attention. Casey is a typical cockatoo and tends to be loud in the mornings when she is hungry, and at night when she is cranky and ready to go to bed and have her cage covered. She has been with one owner for her entire life, therefore she is still shy and slowly adjusting to life at the rescue. Her potential adopter must be willing to work with her and be patient. Casey was owned by a woman, however will tolerate men as well. She loves almonds, pineapples, bananas, and sweet potato. Casey was very loving and affectionate towards her owner. We believe that she would be a perfect bird for someone suffering from PTSD as a therapy bird.
