Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Milo is a larger 8 yo hound, about 50 lbs, who was retired to our Lab to Leash program and is looking for his forever home! If you watch the video, you can see Milo's fascination with the doggie door, which shows a lot of his inherent innocence and sweetness. Milo helped veterinarians study heartworm disease, and now that his time in research is over, we feel we owe him the best retirement ever! Milo is healthy and has no short or long term side effects from his participation in research. He gets along with the dogs and cats in his foster home, but would be just as happy as an only dog in a home where people are around a lot. Milo is not a fan of his crate, so adopters willing to work on housetraining without that tool will be needed. :) Milo would love a fenced in yard and a loving family with or without older kids. Younger kids would just likely be inadvertently knocked over by Milo in his exuberance and excitement to see them. Milo is a great beagle who would love a patient family to show him all about living the life of a spoiled housepet!
