Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
pdate 06/28/08: Casey's vet visit went very well, he weighs 7 lbs and is in good health. He will be neutered in a few weeks and will be ready for his forever home after that. Casey just loves playing with the other dogs here so he will need a home with at least one other dog to play with. He is high energy (as any two year old Yorkie should be) and will need a fenced yard to keep him safe. He is working on his potty skills but not quite there yet. His happy, bouncy personality is infectious and you can't help but love this little guy. Casey's adoption fee is $500.00
Original Bio: 06/07/08: Hi everyone! I'm Casey and I just joined the UYR family. I am a 2 yr old, 6-7 lb Yorkie boy and just as cute as can be. My family worked a lot of hours and I was home by myself a lot. They wanted me to have a home where someone could play with me and so they found United Yorkie and my new foster mom said, sure, we always have room for one more and here I am! I will let foster mom tell you about me. . . .
Casey is a super little dog. He is having the time of his life playing with the other dogs, running in the yard, exploring the flower garden and checking out his foster home. He is a good natured little dog, he rough houses and tumbles with Rose (another UYR foster) and two of the other dogs here. He met the cat and was totally indifferent. He will go to the vet next week for a check up & be brought up to date with his vaccinations. He will also need to be neutered but that will be a separate appointment. His hair is fine and he's a bit matted so he will be sporting a short summer cut in the very near future. The photos don't do him justice but we will work on getting better ones in the next week or so and will send additional updates as we get to know this little one.
