My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lover Boy lives up to his name today at our Free Roamer events. He greets everyone with a croaky meow and a head bump. He gives kisses and purrs all the time. Lover Boy is a very active, curious guy; he likes treats, and makes biscuits when you hold him. He is super affectionate. He is large in size with handsome tabby markings. Quite the dude!

Lover Boy was found in a barn in rural Newton, cornered by a few outdoor felines who were not pleased to have him on their turf. It was apparent he had no idea how to defend himself, so we carefully approached him. Instead of running away, he jumped up into our arms and wanted nothing but a hug and to have someone pet him. He was so happy to have human attention. He was likely a house cat at some point not too long ago. He loves people, other cats, dogs and kids.

Lover Boy is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. The vet mildly tipped his left ear during surgery because we thought he would be an outdoor guy (LOL!) and he has a damaged right ear--possibly from frostbite? He is a large, healthy short-hair brown tabby who likes to talk. He is an over-the-top friendly sweetheart in need of a loving forever indoor home. We estimate his age to be 1 to 2 years old.
