Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chloe is a 7.5 lb new mom (about 4-5 years old perhaps)
Chloe belonged to horrible people who dumped her in the pound only a few days after giving birth. Putting the lives of her 5 puppies in serious danger. They gave 4 of the 5 day old puppies to different people who knew nothing about how to raise a 5 day old puppy with no mom. When they called my rescue, told me the story and asked for help to find the last puppy a home, I told them, no! That I wanted to get the mom out of the shelter and get her back with her babies! So I pulled some favors and had Chloe released from the shelter to be reunited with her babies. Long story short, the people wouldn't cooperate and only two of the puppies were with the mom for about 4 weeks. They told us she was no longer breast feeding anyway, but when we finally got Chloe and the one puppy in our care, she was still actively breast feeding him (and still is) and so protective of him too! She was so traumatized by having her babies ripped away from her so prematurely, she seems to be very attached to the one she still has. Shes a great mom. Constantly feeding him and grooming him and loving him. She deserves a home where she can be confident she will never be abandoned again and thrown away like a piece of trash. She is so happy to be with her baby and I can just imagine how devastated she is that she doesn't have her others and how worried about them she is. Her baby, now named Twinkie, will be old enough to be adopted mid September. Chloe will be available around that time as well. Before adoption she will be spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. There will be a home check and an adoption donation. Thanks!
