My story

I am Abigail! I am a CUTE, fluffy, lab mix with maybe a bit of flat coat retriever in me. I am the CUTEST thing, so happy, so friendly, so playful. I love all people and love dogs! I am really a nice HAPPY JOYFUL DOG. I am about 5 months old. I am now 30 pounds, so I will be about 50 pounds? I am slender, so maybe 50 pounds full grown?

So what's my story? I was found as a stray in a rural part of Houston TX and hauled off to a high kill municipal shelter. I was so scared there as the black dogs get put down first. You see, there are 1.2 million stray dogs in Houston alone, and black dogs are the first to be put down. All my black friends went into a back room, and never came back. I knew my time was near. But one day, the Director of Ab Fab Lab saw my picture and fell in love with me and came to see me. She fell in love with my FRIENDLY PLAYFUL personality, and decided to take me home.

So here I am in a foster home. My foster mommy is really nice and so are her dogs. They are old and cranky but I back off when they tell me to get lost. There is also a puppy in the house, and I L-O-V-E to play with him.

I love my foster home. But I dream of parents to call my own. Can you be that for me? My adoption fee is US Dollars $475 and that includes my spay, all my shots, microchip, health certificate, and my ever dying love for you. Please email v_mirch@hotmail.com for an application.
