My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Sassy and I am a 4 year old, sable and white, purebred, rough collie. I have just received treatment for heartworms and I am doing very well I will not be available for adoption until after September 1st, but you can still apply and/or come visit with me. I am a very shy and timid girl and it takes me a while to warm up to people, so I need a home that will have a lot of patience with me while I learn to trust you. My foster gives me hugs and kisses and this has helped me trust more. i will give you my paw (either one) to show you I like you. I have always lived with other collies so I need a doggy companion. I am current on shots, spayed and will be on heartworm preventive once I complete my treatment. I know how to use a doggy door so I will be easily house trained. I am a good rider and learning how to walk on a leash. An application can be found at www.dfwcollierescue.org. A home visit and reference checks are required before you are approved for my adoption.
