My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Krissy is my name and I just cannot wait to get my forever home; foster care is nice, but a real home would be fantastic. I am a tri-color, rough collie and I am around 2 years old. I love to run and play so I need a male doggy companion. I am very smart and would make a great agility dog and I seem to have a lot of herding instinct, so herding trails would be a great sport for me. I have been around horses and do not chase them. I am a small collie currently weighing around 40 lbs. My maximum weight would be 50lbs. I can jump really high so I need a 6 ft. fence. I do not try to go over the fences, just jump, especially when I get excited. I am spayed, current on shots, on heartworm preventive and microchipped. I am a good rider and all ready know how to use a doggy door so I will be easily house trained. An application can be found at www.dfwcollierescue.org. i am a little shy when meeting strangers, but warm up quickly. A home visit and reference checks are required before I can come live with you.
