Boone is a male Havanese mix only 1 year old. He is a stocky boy, weighing a solid 16 pounds full-grown. Boone has been professionally groomed and he was so neglected and matted that his thick, long coat had to be shaved almost completely. His coat will grow out in no time in longer, soft waves. Boone is a creamy buff color with light gray highlights on his ears. He is a big baby boy and very sweetly affectionate towards people. Even though he's chunky, he loves to be held and rests his head on your shoulder, and he is a master at giving kisses. Boone loves to snuggle and when nothing is going on he can frequently be found flat on his back in his dog bed sound asleep with his short little legs in the air. Boone is good with other dogs, but he is also perfectly confident on his own. He is non-demanding and knows how to hang out and adapt to his surroundings. Boone rides silently in the car and walks well on leash. He likes to romp around in the backyard or at the park and would be fine for children. He has a nice amount of energy but is not at all hyper. He is content with pretty much anything and loves being close to his family. Boone was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He is very healthy and ready for his new forever loving home today!
Boone’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Boone is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Vince and is ready for his forever home.
