My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Together or apart, these two boys are ready for some fun in their new home! Calvin and Klein came into the Coronado Animal Care Facility as strays. Even though somewhat bonded as siblings, since they are young they would be a great addition to any household if adopted individually. Calvin and Klein are one-year-old male Chinese Crested/Terrier Mixes, each weighing 10 pounds.

Calvin is definitely the alpha dog of the pair, with Klein being a "go with the flow" kind of guy. They are just learning to walk on a leash, so obedience training from their handlers will be a priority for them.

Happiness abounds with these two as they shower their human pals with love and affection. Being around Calvin and Klein can be contagious with their great big smiles radiating back at you. If you are looking for a lap full of happy dogs, they’re prefect! So come visit Calvin and Klein soon, and give them a chance to find their new forever homes.

The Coronado Animal Care Facility is open between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except holidays) and is located at 1395 First Street, at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in an adoption, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado dog adoption counselor. You may fill out the dog adoption application at pawsofcoronado.org or contact dogadoptions@pawsofcoronado.org.
