15-1/2 year old Shortstop, is a male Shih Tzu/Maltese, only 12lb who started out as a caged “breeder' and was a family pet for 11 years but now finds himself back in foster care. He is a soulful, endearing boy who would love a new family home for his remaining life. This boy sleeps most of the time, is house trained when taken out often but must be carried up or down steps. He's vision impaired with some signs of dementia, which may improve once he is accustomed to his surroundings. Shortstop has a healthy heart but has arthritic hips, which can be controlled with medication. He will need that special adopter willing to provide loving care for a sweet senior.
Until some lucky family finds this sweet senior, he is waiting in Eden, NC.
