ABOUT ME:

My name is Hines. I was found wandering in a local park by some great people. I had a note attached to my collar, from my previous owner. The note told all about me, but also said I was too big and strong for them to handle. I don't understand why I was left, but thankfully I am safe now!

I am a BIG boy, 130+ lbs and still quite puppyish. I am a little mouthy but am easily redirected. I LOVE to play, balls are my favorite. I do need to work on my leash manners, but my new Easy Walk harness has made a world of difference in a short time. I am smart, affectionate and so sweet. I love to be pet and loved on.

My ideal home would have large breed experience. They will also need to be willing to take me to positive reinforcement obedience classes. I could stand to lose a few pounds, so my new family needs to be prepared for lots of walks. I am a bit clumsy, so a home with older kids is preferred.

I want my next home to be forever, so please only apply if you intend to put in the time and effort needed to help me learn what is expected of me.
