Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Baby Carl. He is an Umbrella Cockatoo and is presumed Male. No information was given on age at the time he was acquired. Carl was acquired from a breeder at Trader's Village in not the best of conditions. He was in a small cage, and his feather was terrible; he had no tail. The guy claimed he was a child's bird, was socialized, etc. come to find out, the bird had never been exposed to a bath, toys, and had never been picked up; he was terrified. Carl has made progress in the time he has been with us, has re grown his tail, and is in much better feather, but is a constant work in progress. He talks and is a real hoot when he is out, and loves to dance. He will even go back to his cage when you tell him to. He will need more work however, when it comes to getting him to step up, which he refuses to do. Usually we leave his cage door open, and when he's ready, he will come out and find you. He is a typical too, and can be loud, destructive, and would not be a good choice for anyone with asthma, or who is pregnant due to the dander.
