My story

Meet Dolce!
Ready for her Forever home!!
Dolce is a Female Pitbull mix rescued from a local shelter. She was pending being euthanized as she came up positive for Parvo.
Luckily, Dolce was rescued by another local group (PAWS) Petersburg Animal Welfare Society where they raised funds to get Dolce the treatment that was needed!!
PAWS reached out to HEART Inc in reference to taking her on as one of our primary rescues and we agreed to do so. Who wouldn't with that pawdorable face?!?

As of 7/13/2015 Dolce was retested for Parvo and tested Negative!!! Wahoo!!!
Update: As of 8/3/2015 Dolce has been in her current foster home, has been spayed, microchipped, UTD on her vaccinations and is enjoying learning the ropes as a rescue pup! She is currently being treated for a UTI that she also had when she was positive for Parvo. That's ok, she is on the road to recovery and enjoying being a typical puppy!
