My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella is a Boxer-mix with what we believe to be German short-haired pointer. She is 2-3 years old, 50 lbs., fully UTD on vaccinations, and spayed.

She is crate trained, potty trained, and good with her foster homes dogs, all of which are female, between 4 lbs to 60 lbs, ages from 9 yrs to 13 yrs. She is not food aggressive nor possessive and takes treats from you very gently.

We have completed Basic Obedience training at Paws-Abilities in Fife, WA.

Bella loves chasing anything that flies; birds, butterflies; and the occasional squirrel that runs on our fence highway in the back yard. She has chased down a few opossums and is ever vigilant in guarding our back yard against them.

Bella is very alert and seems to be on guard of different sounds and sights that are outside of the house. She is currently on Fluoxetine to help calm some of her anxiety.

Bella needs to be exercised each day, whether walking, running, or playing games to help her stay physically and mentally active. She loves playing fetch, play-tug, and running off leash.

Bella is quite boisterous when meeting other dogs while on leash, and gets protective of her pack mates, so she does better walking on her own.

Bella would make a great companion for an active female, who has the time to spend with her and help continue with her training with socializing, obedience, and learning new tricks.
