Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Not much history on her since she was rescued by a woman at Sugercreek Ohio auction in Amish country. Honey was then purchased from a boarding stable in Copley Ohio in fall of 2013. The new owner brought her all the way from Ohio to Contra Costa County. Then for another year and a half did little with Honey, and then the owner ended up in a divorce and needing to re-home Honey quickly.
Horses Healing Hearts of Danville helped in the rescue and Honey was transported to SERRA for our Rehoming for Life Parelli workshop as a demonstration horse. Honey was a STAR! Easy to train, great attitude, would come and catch her human and just wanted to please. Natural horsemanship all the way. Never has been abused. Great for the farrier and vet. Easy to trailer load. She is approximately 15 hands tall, and about 8 years old.
SERRA is assessing Honey's riding training and ridability presently and her experience under saddle.
Yep..she's a real honey!
