Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LULU IN NORWALK, CT. HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
Lulu is being fostered in a private home in Norwalk, Connecticut. If you are interested in adopting LuLu please complete our adoption application on our website at www.brusselsgriffonrescue.org, or send inquiries to Vicki at vboneill@optonline.net
LuLu is a 1 yr. old, 16 lb. red rough Brussels Griffon. LuLu is a true velcro Griff Her foster mom reports she only wants to be with you – all the time. LuLu is a bit nervous going outside. We are not sure why, but we are working on that. She needs a fenced yard to exercise those long legs of hers, and ideally another small dog to play with.
LuLu came into rescue recently because she and her canine sibling (a French Bulldog) didn’t get along well, primarily because Lulu is a rambunctious puppy and the Bulldog would get annoyed with her, and Lulu's family was afraid she would get hurt.
She was very nervous around new dogs when she first came to us, but she settled down within a few hours. She will need a slow introduction to new dogs in her new adoptive home.
LuLu is not a dog who will want to go to the dog park anytime soon. because she needs to gain some confidence, learn to walk nicely on a leash, and how to greet new people and new dogs. She is a truly sweet girl who simply needs someone with the patience to teach, socialize, and love hr unconditionally.
LuLu is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, micro chipped, heart worm negative and on monthly heart worm preventative.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
