Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Capuccino is a large fuzzy sweetie of a kitty! Lovely and loving, he's gentle, affectionate, and extremely snuggly. (And he's polydactyl too!) He wants nothing more to be brought home to have a family to be a lap cat with. He was found as an abandoned cat on the streets, and unfortunately, during this time on the mean streets, he became infected with FIV, the feline version of HIV. Because of the vast differences in the two viruses, FIV poses no threat to humans. FIV passes from cat to cat primary through deep bites in fights, and Capuccino probably got infected when he got beat up by other cats as he trespassed on their territory searching for food. He is a lover not a fighter. Capuccino is otherwise healthy, and FIV-positive cats can live long lives, as long as 'healthy' cats if they are not stressed and are happy in their environment. However, to avoid the risk of him infecting other cats, he needs to be in a household with no other cats, although a home with another FIV-positive cat is a possibility.
