Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COSMO KRAMER IN DALLAS, TEXAS HAS BEEN ADOPTED
If you would like more information about Cosmo Kramer in Dallas, Texas, please contact Connie conniel@andell.com or fill out the adoption application on our website at www.brusselsgriffonrescue.org
This handsome boy is a lovable three-year-old, black-and-tan rough. At 21 lb., he is heavier than the average Griff, but he is not fat; he’s tall – and very playful.
Cosmo was surrendered by his owner because he was not getting the attention that he needed and deserved; so we are looking for his perfect match.
He is your typical Velcro Griff; he wants to be near you at all times – where you go, he goes. He loves to curl up on the sofa for naps, and to his foster mom’s amazement, even with those long legs, he can curl up into the smallest fur ball.
He gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home, loves to play with stuffed toys, and enjoys a friendly game of keep-away and tug-o-war. He is also good on a leash and very patient when being bathed. (We can’t say he loves being bathed, but he does stand still.)
Cosmo has been an excellent guest in his foster home. He waits patiently by the door to let you know he needs to go out to do his business, and he likes it when his human goes outside with him to potty, so he can hear his favorite phrase as soon as he’s finished: “GOOD BOY”.
He would enjoy a home where there is another dog to play with and keep him company. We have not seen him around kids, but we think he would be fine in a family with older, respectful children.
He also wants you to know that he will gladly share the big bed with you, and he wants you to remember that he curls up in a tiny ball so he won’t take up much space.
Cosmo is completely vetted, micro-chipped, heartworm negative and on preventative. All he needs is a loving family who will keep him safe, play with him, and curl up on the sofa with him to watch his namesake in Seinfeld reruns or maybe take in a few episodes of Lassie.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
