Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Fletcher, and my brother, Forrest, and I are looking for a home with a fenced in yard where we can be adopted together. We were born February 7, 2015, so as of the date of this posting (7/28/15), we are almost 6 months old! In all three of the pictures, I'm on the left, and Forrest is on the right.
Our mom was rescued from a puppy mill when she was half way through her pregnancy. She was so lucky to get out of there so she could have us in a nice clean, warm home instead of a dingy barn or shed. We were very lucky, too, to have such a great mommy who fed us so well so we could become big and strong, and a foster mommy who took care of all 7 of us! There were 6 puppies all together. Just Forrest and I are left to find a forever home. Since we've been together this long, our rescuer, who is also our foster mom, wants us to be able to stay together forever. We're such great little buddies!
We are your typical puppies who love to run and play and chase each other. We also love to play with toys and chew on nylabones and other appropriate chew toys to keep us from chewing on things we shouldn't! We also just LOVE people and greet everyone with a wagging tail and lots of love and kisses. Our foster parents say that we are just precious.
We're about to be neutered. That will for sure happen before we go to our forever home. We have also been dewormed and have had all of the shots we need, including rabies. We are being fed a high-quality puppy food at our foster home that doesn't contain any corn, wheat, soy, meat by-products or other low-quality ingredients, and we hope our new family will continue to feed us a high-quality food for the rest of our lives. Like I said earlier, we want a home with a fenced yard because we're used to having that at our foster home and wouldn't want to go somewhere where we can't have the freedom to run and play safely within a fenced yard. We are being fostered in Barneveld, WI, and our combined adoption fee is $800. If you're interested in adopting us, please email Margaret at loveforbichons@gmail.com to request an application.
The adoption process with Safe Haven Bichon and Friends Rescue includes an application, reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs on planes or send them on transports. Adopters must come to the foster home to adopt.
