My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CHILI BEAN came from the same hoarder/breeder situation as Quork and Betsy, back in 2004. In fact, she was Quork’s forced mate. She was adopted in ‘04 but unfortunately her adopter gave her to someone who cared greatly, but kept her in a beauty shop. Talk about a place for fumes and chemicals! We think she is still in detox.... She has made some progress with her feathers, but it may take awhile, and even if she never lets them fully grow out, she is a real dear to those she likes.

Chili is a scarlet macaw of an unknown age. After time, she has decided that fresh food is really delicious. Harrison’s is her pellet of choice, so we want her adopter to be willing to give her these good nutritious foods, along with a handful of walnuts everyday too. This will help her restore her feathers. She is finally learning to play more, and chew on wood. She likes to sleep on her shelf.
