Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to Layman. Layman is our gunshot survivor. We received a phone call about a dog who had been shot and could possibly have to have his leg amputated. We immediately went to his rescue. We discovered that he had been shot with a .22 and that it had entered and exited his body. This was some relief as usually surgery would not be required unless it hit major organs. We took him to the vet and he agreed that he needed some antibiotics and his wound cleaned, but that he would not require surgery. He has since healed from his wound.
Layman is around 1 ½ years old and is an Australian Shepard mix. He weighs around 30-35 pounds. He is stunning to look at. He is a very smart little guy. He walks well on a leash, gets along with his numerous dog brother’s and sister’s, and loves the children at his foster mom’s house. He is up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, on monthly prevention, and neutered.
