The name Ellie means & bright, shining one; someone who is beautiful, lucky, and can be a little sassy but everyone who meets her falls in love with her because she is so special; Ellie is a 2 year old gem whose sweet smile shines like a diamond, and has touched the heart of everyone lucky enough to meet her.
Ellie was found as a stray in Chicago and brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC). CACC volunteers could tell she was special and let FTF's co-founders know about her. The Bryan and Amanda Bickell Foundation graciously offered to sponsor her medical care so FTF fetched her as soon as her stray hold was up. Once rescued, Ellie quickly settled into her foster mom's lap for kisses and love. Ellie loves all dogs. Her best friend is the neighbors poodle. She is great with all people and all dogs. Has not been around cats.
Within the first week of having Ellie, we learned she was pregnant with 8 puppies. She has now given birth to her puppies and has been a great momma to her puppies.
Ellie is a smiley, happy girl who loves to give everyone she meets a hug and is taking advantage of her new chance at a happy life.

Be at least 21 years of age
Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household
Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease)
Have a valid ID with current address
Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation
Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
Lives in 50 mile radius of Itasca within the Illinois border
Adoption Fees:
Senior dog - 8 years and up, $75
Adult or young dog - 6 months to 7 years, $250
Puppies - under 6 months, $350
