My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chocolate lab/spaniel mix? almost 50lbs, spayed female, utd (up to date) with shots, heartworm neg, almost 2 years old! FOSTER MOM shared this:Very intelligent, Very good natured and eager to please, Is hesitant or timid around men (growls and barks but is not aggressive), Walks well on leash with gentle leader when not distracted by rabbits or dogs. She wants to go to the other animals and pulls- gets frustrated. Crate trained – even goes in for naps, Not afraid of thunder or firecrackers
Not afraid of carpeted steps upstairs but will not go down into the basement
High energy – loves to run in the backyard – very fast runner, keeps up with the neighbor Greyhound and almost caught up with a rabbit in the backyard
Can stand on hind legs and jumps over benches, chases & catches fireflies – would be great agility or Frisbee dog, Loves being outdoors – can be stubborn at times when called inside
Likes other dogs, loves to play with them but wants to be the boss
House trained – she comes to find me when she needs to go out. She will relieve herself while on walks or in the back yard (she prefers the outer edges along the fence)
Likes chewing heavy duty “Kong” type toys – she’ll destroy plush toys, slippers and anything with a squeaker inside.
