Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucky Alfred as we call him is a true senior cat. He is 18 years old and is looking for someone to love him in his senior years. Alfred had a family but sadly Alfred's family did mort cherish him as a member of their family. Alfred was rescued by us and was literally a day or two away from death according to the vet at the emergency hospital where we took him. He was 5 pounds at rescue. an absolute skeleton and was matted to the skin to the point of having tears in his skin from the matted fur.
Alfred was left outside declawed for the last 12 years of his life and when rescued had a trauma to his mouth where the entire side of his face was swollen. Alfred has been given a full senior workup and beyond the injury to his mouth has no current issues that were found. He is very affectionate and loves to be around people and children.
He has already gained over 2 pounds since his rescue on july 4th 2015
If you are considering adopting a senior cat, this fellow may be just the right one. He just wants a family that will show him the respect he deserves in his golden years.
copy and past this link to see a short video of Alfred only three days after his rescue. He could barley walk when we rescued him! https://www.facebook.com/allsoulsconnected/videos/vb.694208150608974/1105105396185912/?type=2&theater
