Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Huckleberry is a former farm dog who loves people. He came to rescue when he kept running away. We are unsure of his age but he acts 7 or 8 and we were told he could be 9 or 10.. He'll enthusiastically chase a ball, but giving it back to you is still hit or miss. He loves getting belly rubs, or just hanging out with his foster parents so they can pet him. He LOVES to chew Kong bones, Nylabones, or any toy he finds. He is a very strong chewer! Huck is a true golden in every sense - he loves to carry random items around but he doesn't hurt them - he just wants to bring them to you - especially when you first walk in the door! Huckleberry is a bit of a clown, and can entertain himself very well. He is a rock star in a crate, and probably would not need to be kept in one after he adjusts to his new home. He's reliably housebroken and is a gentleman in the house. We were told he had seizures but have seen no sign of that and he is no longer on meds. If you are looking for a dog to play ball with in the yard, go on a nice walk, excellent leash manners, and snuggle with in the evening, Huck is that dog!
