My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Star & her sister joined our rescue when they were only a few weeks old. They came in with their mom. Here's their story:

After her original owners moved, Bella (momma) was found alone, confused & pregnant. The kind young couple living in the apartment below took Bella in & that night she had 5 babies!

Unfortunately Bella was suffering from an Upper Respiratory Tract Infection ("Cat Cold") and the kittens ended up coming down with it as well. We are sad to say that only 2 of her kittens survived - Star & her sister Parsley (adopted!).

While Bella is off to her new home this week, that leaves poor little Star all alone and waiting for her "fur"ever home to come along. She doesn't really understand why she's been left behind, picked over or "ignored" - especially because everyone here at the rescue always tell her that she's a good girl, very sweet and so deserving of a warm lap of her own to cuddle up in.

Star loves nothing more than to greet her special someone (or someones!) with purrs & mews & lots of love. She's very energetic, like most kittens, and enjoys playing with just about anything and will follow you around if you have one of those "fishing pole" type toys. We know that one day Star will find her "purr"fect home. Until that time, Star will get all the attention she can stand from everyone at the rescue and her foster family.
