Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Fritos. We pulled Fritos from a kill shelter in Tennessee. Animal Control had to take him away from his owner due to neglect. Fritos was not the only one, there were at least 7 other dogs that came to the kill shelter from the same residence. Five of the seven were adopted or pulled by other rescues, this left Fritos and Jasmine. We also have Jasmine and you can find her listing on adopt-a-pet as well. Fritos birthday is estimated to be 6/11/14 which makes him just over a year old. He is a Jack Russell Terrier mix weighing around 20 lbs.
Fritos has the most adorable overbite you have ever seen. He is housebroken. He is kenneled at night. He sleeps in his doggie bed with a quilt over the kennel. He loves treats. He loves to sit in your lap and snuggle. He loves to play with other dogs. He chases them, they chase him. This is very entertaining to watch. He loves toys but you have to watch him closely because he also loves to chew them up. He does not chew on furniture, just his toys. He loves his person and loves to be close. Fritos was very timid when we pulled him from the kill shelter. He has come a long way. It may take him time to adjust when he gets to his new home. This is normal. He came from a not so good life. He lived outside with little to no attention and he didn't even know what love was until we saved him. He now knows love, endless food and lives indoors like he should have been all along. His foster mom has 3 small breed dogs of her own as well as a large lab inside and Fritos has been living with them while he received all his vetting. He loves his foster mom very much and will love you to.
Fritos is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, heart worm negative and on monthly preventatives. His foster mom says that he does well with her 3 year old grandson. She does not have a cat so he has not been cat tested but we can test if needed. If you would like to give Fritos his forever home and be loved by him for the rest of his life, please consider adopting him.
