Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jax is a gorgeous 1.5 YO Pointer mix who had been in the shelter for a while...so long he went through the shelters prison program not once, but twice (for those that dont know the dogs are paired with an inmate for an 8 week live in training session where they learn basic obedience, etc). He was adopted THREE times, and returned all 3 times for the same thing - he chews things when left alone. With 3 failed adoptions his shelter asked for our help, and we were happy to welcome Jax into our program. He is a wonderful dog, active and playful. He loves toys, and will toss them in the air and chase them all on his own. He is actually fairly settled in the home, and thankfully hasnt chewed anything that isnt his. He is learning crate training and is completely housetrained. At 50lbs he walks well in a body harness, but we're told he can pull like a freight train on a flat collar. He does like to chase things that move fast (bicycles, motorcycles, etc) though his fosters have made great strides in this department already. He does not travel well in a car - it makes him quite anxious and unnerved so he's a dog thats best not to go in a home that does a lot of traveling. He is a happy dog, and his fosters adore him.
