My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cynch has been here at the rescue since last August. He was EXTREMELY fearful of everything! Almost a year later, Cynch is still fearful though not as bad as it was. It took months to get him to eat a piece of cheese from my hand. Now, he will let me catch him because he knows there will be cheese involved! If the enticement of cheese works and I don't, that is okay with me. I just love seeing Cynch respond to something! Doesn't even matter what it is.

That he is responding is great motivation for me to keep working with him. We all love rewards and the reward of training is seeing progress. When you don't over a long period of time, it can be disheartening. Cynch is not aggressive in any way. He enjoys time with someone and does not try to jump off your lap. BUT, at this point, if you want to adopt Cynch, you will need to have dog experience, preferrably with a fearful dog.
