Here's what the humans have to say about me:
****** ADOPTION PENDING ******
Hi there,
My name is Winnie and I’m the Cutest, sweetest girl EVER!!! My foster mom says that my big brown eyes make her melt and I keep her laughing with my funny little personality. My tail is always wagging and I love to be cuddled. I’m very curious about what people are doing and am happy to follow you around the house and keep you company. At 10 pounds I’m just the right size to scoop up for a hug or to fit in your lap for some quality TV time.
Winnie is a playful gal who loves to romp around in a back yard and is ready for a walk whenever you are. She’s a happy girl who loves to snuggle and will sit in your lap or by your side. She has a unique easy care coat and a wonderful personality. Winnie is a pure breed wire haired dachshund and is a little under 2 years old.
Winnie is very good at minding her foster momma. She is house and crate trained and walks really well on a leash.
To prepare for her new home Winnie has been fixed, micro chipped and given her vaccinations.
We do our best to place our fosters in an environment to suit their individual needs, with this goal in mind, we will be looking for a home for Winnie with an owner who can give this young pup the regular walks and exercise she needs to be happy. We will need to place her in a home with a fenced in yard so she can get plenty of time outside. She would not be suited to living in an apartment. Winnie is very playful and can be a bit much for other small dogs or young children to handle so we will not be placing her in a home with other very small dog or young children present.
If you are looking for a pup to make you smile and be a new best friend this just may be your perfect match.
If you would like more info about Winnie and to find out how our adoption process is handled please contact her foster mom using the info provided on this site.
***** Friends of Cats and Dogs Foundation preforms a home visit with the prospective animal. Out of state/area adoptions will not be possible. We apologize for any disappointment this causes. *****
