My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosey -- This little beauty is even more beautiful in person than her pictures portray! Hard to believe, right?! Rosey is a one year old Husky. She weighs 50 lbs, she does great with other dogs (but not with cats!), and while I have not tested her out with kiddos, I have zero doubt that her temperament shows that she would be fantastic with them. She is vaccinated and spayed, potty-trained and crate-trained.



Rosey's story -- Rosey was a stray intake at the Dallas Animal Shelter towards the end of May, she came to DAS in really rough shape; tibial fracture, severe case of sarcoptic mange, afraid of people, and very skinny. Almost two months later, Rosey is doing phenomenally! What is so hard to believe is that no one was willing to step up and make a difference in this beautiful girl's life because of her ailments, little did they know that her information on DAS' site was simply outdated and that she was in much better health! Knowing that our incredible supporters would step up and cover any medical costs that were incurred, TRK9 saved Rosey from euthanasia. We went to the shelter expecting a hairless doggie in a lot of pain, and what came out was a beautiful husky with a full coat and just as happy as could be! We were shocked and relieved to see how wonderfully she had healed and to know that she had not been in pain and untreated during her shelter stay.
Rosey is now available for adoption and is looking for her forever home to run and play in!
