My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emmie is a young adult female German Shepherd.
 
She is house trained, and she has been great with the three dogs and three cats living in her foster home. She does very well being around the neighborhood children on her daily walks as well. She is also kennel trained. Emmie is a very energetic dog and wants to be involved in
everything. Her energy can be a little overwhelming, and she would be ideally suited for someone who can channel her energy and provide strong leadership to her.
 
Emmie is afraid of loud noises, such as fireworks, and bad weather. She is most comfortable being close to people or resting in a quiet part of her foster home during these events.
 
Emmie is a wonderful walking companion, but she tends to be a little strong on leash. She does know basic commands, such as sit and down. She would thrive in a positive-method obedience course where she could bond with her person and learn obedience skills. She loves to please!
