My story

Located in Blairstown, NJ: Riley is a neutered male Maltese, 8.4 lbs., almost 2 years old. Riley has had a very stressful last 2 months. He ran away from his home, living on his own in the country for 3 weeks before his own finally found him. Less than 2 weeks later he survived a house fire where his owner lost her life. Riley is sweet, lovable, playful and a very happy little boy. He’s a bit on the timid side. It could very well due to the traumatic experiences he has lived in such a short time. Riley is very good with other dogs, cats and children. He loves to play with his 1 year old foster sister. Riley would do great in a home with children over 10, a young playmate and a human lap he can snuggle. He is housetrained to go outside. Up to date on shots, microchipped, fecal and heartworm negative. Could you be his perfect forever home?
