Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
All potential adopter’s will need to be approved to adopt from MWBCR and should visit our website at www.mwbcr.org for more information on the approval process.

Meet Doc, a gorgeous, black and white tri, male Border Collie. Doc is approximately one year old, is fully vetted and neutered. He came to MWBCR from a not very nice situation, but after a week in foster care, he is settling down and learning that life is not scary and can actually be a lot of FUN.
Doc was fearful of the leash, but is making great strides in that area as he learns to trust people and feel safe. It's been very rewarding to watch him begin to enjoy a walk and take in all the smells, sights and sounds. He's even started to prance a bit with his tail held high.
It is unknown whether or not Doc had ever played before, but he's taken to a ball on a rope with pure joy. It didn't take him long to learn that if he brings it back, not only does he get a treat, but he gets to chase the ball again. It's safe to say that Doc is embracing play with great gusto!!
This very sweet boy is turning into quite the cuddler and craves human attention. He has not shown any signs of aggression, and is learning appropriate play with other dogs.
