Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kayi is an Inuit name for "drifting snow". Our girl Kayi is a little bit of a drifter. She has been bumped around to way to many homes for the first 5 years of her life, neglected to the point of needing a $1000 dental and 16 teeth removed when she landed in our rescue.
For the last 5 years, Kaya (now called) has been loved and cared for in an amazing home with teenagers and other dogs. However, due to very difficult family circumstances, Kayq and a later adopted sister Sasha (from a different "rescue") need to come back into rescue and look for a new family.
Kayq, now 10 years old, is pretty good with other dogs, and ignores cats completely. She loves her humans. She is very full of energy. She has done agility in her younger years and loved it. Her sister Sasha is about 13 yrs old, a small black and tan mix breed. Sasha is shy and loyal. Likes to be close-by, but not handled too much. Very gentle and good with other dogs. Sasha has some back end issues we are working to diagnose, perhaps arthritis. Nothing life threatening but for now she needs low exercise levels. She likes to play with Kaya.
Please contact us for more information on these sweet girls. We would like them adopted as a bonded pair.
