Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Misha was given up by her owners to her local animal control because she was a "stupid dog that runs away all the time". She is about 10+ years old, and is looking for a home that understands Shiba's, and wants to treat her like the princess she is.
While in immediate foster with the rescue, Misha has shown escape attempts (from the car and crate) but after being in a dedicated foster home for several months, she has settled down and doesn't seem inclined to "get away".
Her teeth are very worn, hinting at years of chewing and escape attempts, but as they have been worn down over time they are still quite healthy for her age.
Misha had a deep gash on her ear stitched and treated, and while she was under anesthetic we did a full dental cleaning. Misha has been on daily eye drops for a minor autoimmune issue on and off. For her age, she requires below average to average medical care.
Misha is fine around other dogs, but she is not really interested in other dogs, and is happy to be solitary. Misha is good around cats.
MIsha's current foster home would love to adopt her, but her foster mom travels frequently, and Misha is very easily stressed out when mom is gone - so she would be best in a situation she could travel with family or just be a homebody :)
