Ronnie Flore was found as a stray in Nashville with a bilateral perineal herniation, cysts in his right side, hookworms, advanced dental disease, arthritis in an ankle and elbow, and intact. Ronnie is between 8 and 9 years old, and from his scars, he appears to have spent a very long time on his own fending for himself.
Despite his long-term pain, he is, in typical bully fashion, forgiving, loving and sweeter than sweet. Ronnie is currently living very happily in his foster home with kitties and tiny, medium, and large sized pups. This boy is absolutely a love. He has also met children and is very gentle with them.
Ronnie is potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, great in a car, and can be trusted loose in a house to not bother anything. He knows sit, stay and shake. He loves to roll on his back in the grass and sniff flowers outside. He is beginning to learn to play with other dogs, but his play sessions are very short. He would much prefer lounging on the couch to most anything else, though he does enjoy a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood.
The cost of Ronnie's care to date (including comprehensive blood work, two hernia surgeries, dental, neuter, cyst removal, medications, microchip and vaccinations) is $1,920.
Donations to Ronnie's care can be made via paypal to donations@nashvillepittie.org or via check to Nashville PITTIE PO Box 1146 Goodlettsville TN 37070.
