Meet the handsome Elijah. This sweet 8 year old boy is just looking for a place to lay his head and hang out. Rescued as a stray from Chicago this past winter, Elijah came to the rescue heartworm positive and his ears were severely frostbitten. He has completed his heartworm treatment and his ears are growing hair on them once again. He is an easy going dog who needs a home with no steps to the outside as he is showing signs of hip dysplasia. He is also on several medications from the vet to ease his joints which he will need to continue taking.
