My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Teddy was born February 20, 2013 at the home of an elderly man who could barely make ends meet. And yet he took in a pregnant momma dog and kept her and her litter of puppies safe and warm during the winter months. Neighbors and friends provided food, but since he couldn't provide vet care, he gave away the puppies when they were old enough hoping they would get better care. Teddy was the only one left when ARF members heard about the situation and took him in. His mom is a Husky/Akita mix and his dad is a purebred chocolate lab. His coat is thick and wooly and bridle and he has big paws, which he will offer freely to shake. Teddy is Mr. Congeniality and loves to please. Teddy is very submissive and greets humans and other animals by rolling over on his back. He loves to play frisbee fetch and he loves water. He will lie down in a full tub of water and wait for his bath, playing in the tub when he is finished. He learns quickly and already knows 'sit,' 'shake,' and 'down.' He is crate trained and knows how to use the doggie door. Teddy know how to win friends and influence people!
