UPDATE 12/3: We pulled Hope into foster care earlier this week. She's about 25 lbs (beagle size), and appears to be a beagle mix with slightly longer hair than a beagle. Hope is housebroken, gentle, quiet, and seems to really like people. She prefers her canine companions to be similar in size to her...she chases the larger dogs away when they try to play with her. All in all, she's a very sweet little girl who was saved from death row just in time. She'd love a forever home for the holidays!
Hope is not in foster care yet. She is on the euthanasia list at a rural shelter for this week and is in urgent need of an adopter. Here's what the shelter has to say about her:
Hope Beagle mix female (may be spayed) approx. 25 lbs. approx. 3-4 years old - "Hope" is a very sweet dog that was found wandering down the road. She is the size of a beagle but has smaller ears and slightly longer fur than a beagle. She has a beagle temperament and looks like she'd love to be a lap dog. ***Available Date: November 22. ***"Hope" may be euthanized if not reclaimed, or if there is no adoption or rescue interest by November 23.
