My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Missy has an application in progress, but there are ALWAYS senior dogs of various breeds at the shelters we work with. If you are looking for a senior dog, please submit an application and we'll see if we can find a match for you.

11/6: Missy has arrived in foster care and has been to our vet. Her actual weight is 50 lbs and our vet estimates her age to be around 10-12 years old. She is gentle and sweet and gets around well/doesn't seem to have any hip/joint problems. We've even seen her romp across the yard occasionally! Our vet said her heart/lungs sound good. She is a sweet, sweet old gal!

Missy is at one of the shelters we work with and she is VERY URGENT! She needs an adoptive home ASAP. Please contact us if you would like to adopt this girl.

Here is what the shelter has to say about her: LadyBug & Missy were surrendered to the shelter because their owner became very ill after a massive stroke. They were both raised w/ children, great w/ other dogs & cats. Missy is about 16 years of age, about 35 lbs, very sweet and not to mention beautiful! Please consider an older dog & offer them a place to live out the rest of their lives. Due to overcrowding Missy's time is VERY SHORT.
