My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nellie is a sweet and gentle lab/husky mix. She has absolutely STUNNING clear blue eyes and a very soulful look on her face. When you meet this gentle girl, you can't help but fall in love with her...after all, she is a gorgeous blue-eyed blonde!

When we visited her at the shelter, she was kenneled with a boisterous male black lab and was submissive to him...to the point that she was hiding out in the dog house to get away from him. We just couldn't leave her behind...she needed to get away from this big boy and blossom into her own.

Nellie has been in foster care for 24 hours and is doing well. She's a bit reserved when meeting other dogs, but then will start to romp and play with them. No accidents in the house in her first 24 hours.

Nellie is about 1-2 years old and weighs about 45 lbs. More info coming soon.

We are not a shelter. Our dogs are fostered in a home environment. All meetings are by appointment. We do not know if any of our dogs are good with cats as we have no way to cat test them in our foster program.
