My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charmer is true to his name! He's a wonderful little dog. He enjoys the company of children and is very gentle with them. If you start to pet him, he'll just roll over for a belly rub. He loves to sleep on his back with his paws in the air. Just adorable!

In foster care, he's mingled with dogs ranging in size from 13 to 60 lbs and been fine with all of them. This guy could hold his own in a dog park no problem. He would probably have a blast in that environment.

He looks like a border collie in a corgi-sized body with dachshund shaped features. Maybe even a little bassett hound in the look of his front legs/feet. He weighs 23.5 lbs and stands about 14" high at the shoulder, below knee high. Nice sturdy legs, so he can handle young children without risk of injury. Solid black in color except for a small white blaze on his chest. GORGEOUS fur! This guy would make a nice family pet! Hurry and submit an application...we think he's going to be a popular boy!
We are not a shelter. Our dogs are fostered in a home environment. All meetings are by appointment. We do not know if any of our dogs are good with cats as we have no way to cat test them in our foster program.
