Hi, my name is Buddy! I am housebroken and crate-trained and know these commands: sit, down, and speak. I will go into my crate when my foster mom says "Buddy, crate". I will also go into my crate when I just want to hang out and relax or take a nap.

I'm about 1-2 years old and not high energy. I weigh about 45 lbs and stand knee high on my foster mom (she's about 5' 4" tall). I like to play with the bigger dog at my foster home (he's a few inches longer and taller than me).

I'm a sweetie, but I'm just not good with cats and small & furry animals. You see, I think they're REALLY fun to chase! I get along with dogs that are 20 lbs and up. I may try to chase smaller dogs than that, especially if they are scared of me and run away.

My foster mom thinks I'm a Beagle/Hound mixed with one of these breeds: Catahoula Leopard Dog, Australian Shepherd, or Smooth Coated Collie. I have a beagle head and blue merle colored fur on the rest of me. My hair is shorter than an aussie, more like lab length. One of my eyes is blue and the other is brown. I'm really quite striking in person!

My foster mom says because I'm a herding breed, I would do better in a home with older kids (10+). She thinks I'm really funny because when she vaccuums, I go over to her and nudge her arm. You see, I LOVE to be vacuumed! Yup, I'll stand there and moan and wag my tail while you vacuum the fur, pollen and dust right off my body. Don't believe me? Ask my foster mom to show you in person!
