Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A little background: Several of the dogs currently listed on our site are being cared for by two women in a rural area. Local adoptions are virtually non-existent and there is no animal shelter where they live. These dogs are living outdoors and winter is coming. We are trying to help them place as many dogs as possible into adoptive homes or rescues before winter sets in. Won't you please consider giving one of these dogs a nice warm home for the holidays? The description given below has been provided by the women who are caring for this dog. Happy Dog Rescue has not evaluated this dog in person. Description: Kramer was abandoned or became a stray and lost all hope or faith in humans. I first saw him outside a house where I thought he belonged. The next day I saw him again, but I noticed more about him. He was matted and looked horrible and was walking along the road. I stopped and tried to get him to come to me, but he was just so scared. He started running. I turned around and tried again, but he just ran away again. We came to a house where there was a child playing with her two puppies. I asked her if she could help me catch him, and she whistled and he went right to her. She brought him over to me, and that was all it took. Kramer has been a gem ever since. He is afraid of large numbers of dogs, but he would be excellent with another small or medium size dog. He is excellent with children, and he loves to play. He has never been with cats, but when we go to the vet, the resident cat will check that out.
Kramer is a sable Pom. He has a long coarse coat. He is currently living in a 10x10 outdoor kennel with another dog. He would do best in a home with children and another dog. Kramer was a stray.
